AS GENERAL DUTIES PILOT & AERONAUTICAL ENGINEER

  1. PRELIMINARY SELECTION:

The candidates are required to appear personally at the Selection and Recruitment Centres in various important cities. The information may be procured from respective recruiting office ofyour city.

The dates of preliminary tests are advertised by the Forces Head quarters through the national newspapers.

Candidates must report at the Selection and Recruiting Centres with the required documents.

  1. i) Test At Selection Centres:

Intelligence Test (online)

When candidates reached at selection centre for initial tests they are given an Intelligence test. There are 02 types of intelligence test:

  1. Verbal Intelligence Test
  2. Non-verbal Intelligence Test.

Academic Test (online)

After Intelligence test candidates are given an Academic Test to solve in specific time. The test includes questions based on Academic Subjects: Physics & English for GD (P) course and Maths, Physics & English for CAE course respectively.

(ii) Preliminary Interview at selection centre.

Candidates are briefly interviewed. Questions about family background and general knowledge are asked.

iii) Preliminary Medical Test. Candidates go through a medial check­up, in which height, chest, weight and eye-sight may be checked.

RESULT

Result are announced immediately after the tests.

  1. ISSB TEST:

The selected candidates by the selection centers are called for ISSB Test.

  1. FINAL SELECTION:

Final Medical Test:

Those candidates, who qualify the ISSB tests & interview are called for final Medical Test.

  1. PILOT APTITUDE TEST:

PAF Information & Selection Centre Rawalpindi administers Aptitude Test for GD Pilot course only. Certain number of marks are allotted for the Aptitude Tests and the marks obtained by each candidate are taken into account while his final results are determined at the conference.
