My dear Asad,

Assalam-o-Alaikum!

I am well here. I hope you will be all right. I want to inform you about the bad effects of smoking so that you can explain these to your friends and relatives. Tobacco smoke is packed with poisons that can damage the t and blood vessels. When you smoke, your heart has to work harder and get less oxygen. Smoking dramatically increases the risk of developing heart disease, lung cancer, and many other diseases. These diseases can seriously damage health. Smokers die earlier than non-smokers. Smoking is dangerous not only for the smokers but equally harmful for the non-smokers. We should convince people to give up smoking. I hope you will help me with this good task.

Please pay my salam to all at home.

Yours sincerely,

X.Y.Z.

Dear Adeel,

I am greatly shocked to know from your Principal’s report that you have failed in almost every subject in the second quarterly examination. I have also come to know that you often remained absent from school. He says, in his report, that you are getting into bad company and waste your precious time. I advise you to give up all these bad habits if you don’t want to be ruined. I advise you to work hard. Be regular and dutiful. Devote your precious time to your studies. Don’t give us any further chance of complaint. If you don’t mend your ways, I will have to bring the matter to my her’s notice. I hope you will act upon my advice.

With love and best wishes.

Yours affectionately,

X.Y.Z.

DearNadeem,

.1 am very glad to know from your letter of the other day that you are working very hard for the annual examination. At the same time, it shocked me very much to learn that you do not take part in any game.

It is very good to work hard. But it is equally bad to do so at the cost of your health. You must have heard the well-known proverb, “All work and no play, makes Jack a dull boy.” If you go on reading without playing, your health will soon break down.

I, therefore, advice you to take part in some game to keep healthy, Remember that time spent in games will not be wasted. They not only teach us discipline and obedience but also keep us healthy, active and smart. They are very essential for good health which, in the turn, is necessary for a ccessful life.

With love and best wishes.

Your affectionate brother,
